I started taking met about 1 month ago and have increased my dosage to 1500 mg, but unlike when I was on it before, I seem to be more constipated than I should be. Before I was running to the bathroom with diarrhea, just wondering if it is not related to the met or if others have this problem too.

Hope it helps!

Doc told me to increase weekly until I can be able to take 4 pills a day. I'm just in my first week and I'm already constipated. Hmm, I guess a stool softener and more fiber might help? Any suggestions? |

I was on extended and was terribly constipated for the first 2 months. I switched to regular Met now, and over the past two months or so I have noticed I don't feel so bloated and uncomfortable. |
