Constipation and vaginal bleeding

I know this is WAY TMI, but I need to know if this is "normal" or not.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

I was straining to go and had bright red blood when I wiped. I double checked and it was vaginal bleeding.

I used a suppository to help loosen things up and it's been "better", but not normal.

I have never had vaginal bleeding...I don't know what would cause that. I get so constipated that I'm afraid that my vaginal wall with break. I know, TMI!

Soulful-- I was at CD 21.

Amk-- Have you added more fiber in your diet?? Have you tried Miralax? IT's an OTC powder you mix into any beverage and helps things along. That could be helpful to you. -- I should heed my own advice.

Soulful-- As of a year ago no. I have been having issues with AF and am going in for my annual and to discuss what has been going on. I know my mom had it...

You also might want to see if you have fibroids. I know several woman with fibroids that will have similar signs as you describe when AF is approaching.

I have had some cramping pain and discomfort. If I had to rank it on a scale, personally it would be a 3. I have a high tolerence for pain...

Does anything make the pain or the bleeding better or worse other than the bowel movement, or difficulty there of?

Eh.... the bleeding (spotting) went away after an hour or so. And I used suppositories to help me go.

I just don't want "this" to be it for me. We aren't preventing #3 from happening... but I want to have that choice taken away from me. You know?

I had a uterine fibroid. I never had the vaginal spotting, but I did have the constipation. The location of the fibroid was also on top of my bladder, so I had to make frequent trips to the bathroom for that.

team- I understand what you are saying. Maybe head to the Dr and have a u/s just so you know what is going on for sure, that way you know what you do and don't have to do.

I thank you ladies so much for helping me out. I was really freaked out because it hasn't happened to me before. I had an u/s about 4-5 months ago and my lining was pretty thick and I had cysts. The lining was a concern, but the cysts were normal for me. I have been urinating much more frequently... I took a HPT today and it was neg. Probably too soon though as I am on CD25. I usually get AF around CD 27-28 with several days of spotting inbetween. I have been spotting a lot the past few months before and after AF. AHHHH!!! If this doesn't work out in the next year or so. I have another year to try to have a baby then I am done... Perhaps I could be gutted out... Then I won't have these problems.
