Hello everyone, I have just recently been diagnosed with PCOS. I am taking met. and have lost about 20lbs. The question that is starting to totally consume me is: Can I get pregnant?? My husband and I have not started ttc yet because I do want to loose weight first (by the way my weight now is about 240lbs.) I am a worrier anyway and I feel like if somebody could just tell me a yes or no answer I would feel better, but I know that is not possible. My Doc. told me if I would continue to loose weight and stay on my med. I should not have a problem considering everything is fine with dh. What are you guys doing to keep it together? Have you had luch with conception having PCOS? I guess my number one prob. is I just dont know enough about it and it seems like I cant get any straight forward answers from the Doc. or anyone. Thanks for letting me vent!!

The best thing for you right now is to loose weight like the doc said. If your dh has no problems thats great. Loose some weight and go from there!

Bethy I would focus on losing weight. That helps alot to get pg. I lost 30lbs before I got pg. After years of trying on my own, I thought that I would never get pg. There is no reason right now to say that you won't get pg when you start to ttc.
