I've done a lot of research on this lately because I'm going to be TTC in the near future and wanted to get my husband and I and healthy as possible beforehand. I don't know if you're TTC but most sites says it's not recomended during pregnancy because there really haven't been any studies to see how it affects pregnant women but it's made naturally in your body and I really doubt it would hurt anyone. The studies I saw regarding pregnancy actually showed that women who took it were less likely to get preeclampsia and it may reduce birth defects. Another study showed that it reduced the size of tumors in women with breast cancer (something I worry about since my mom has breast cancer). It can also help with sperm quality.
As for PCOS, I'm not as familiar with it's benefits. I've read that in the PCOS Diet Book it's recommended to help with certain PCOS symptoms but I haven't read the book. CoQ10 is an antioxidant that we normally make on our own but it tends to be low in people with chronic conditions (like cancer and diabetes). I wish I had more info but I'll have to do some research when I have more time. I did come across this post that may help: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/ge...-coq-10-a.html . If you do decide to take it I'd definitely let your doctor know.
