Corn Casserole Another one of dh granny recipes. Yummy too.
Corn Casserole
1 lb hambuger
1/4 cup dies onion
1/4 cup diced green pepper (usually add more)
3/4 tsp salt (we omit)
1/8 tsp pepper
1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp works great, but medium is fine)
2 12 oz cans of kernal corn, drained
Frenches fried onion rings (optional, we use)
Brown hamburger, onion and green pepper in small amount of oil in large frying pan. Mix in remaining ingredients. Spoon into a greased 1.75 quart casserole dish. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees about 40 minutes. If you use the frenches onions, sprinkle on the top for the last 5 minutes of baking time.
This is great for a complete easy meal.
