Default could a frozen embryo survive so long ?

I have had 2 cycles of FET both of which failed.
First FET failed and after 3 months, i conceived but that pregnancy lasted till 9 weeks only.
Second FET too failed after which i started taking metformin. I got 2 periods with metformin. Then I took bcp + met for a month and then clomid + met for another month. But the succeeding month, i got pregnant and i have a daughter who is 2 yrs 10 months now. This pregnancy happened in december 2005 while the second FET was done in july.
Could it be possible that the FET embryo survived and resulted in a pregnancy ?
