been on the metformin now for nearly 3weeks and i'm on the full dose (1700mg), had alot of EWCM on CD13, but has completely gone now, not sure if that means i've ov'd?? cos it'll be a very first if i did lol.
do you think it's possible to ov this soon after starting it??
thanks girls x x x
p.s. am on CD17 now, and started my AF after waiting over 100 days!!!! only one day after my first metformin tablet lol.
Yep, it's possible. With my dd, I was on 1000mg Met for 2 weeks then upped it to 1500mg for 1 week when i got pg. So it's completely possible. AND, I stayed on the Met thru my ENTIRE pg and everything was totally fine.

Very possible, I found out I was preg 2 months after starting 2000mg of met. It did take 8 months with dd on 2000mg. I also stayed on met same dosage for both pregnancies, had a miscarriage scare with first son before there was metformin for pcos. Both children were normal and fine.

I think it is definitely possible. With my son, I started getting regular cycles after just 2 weeks on met. I didn't O until starting Clomid, but the cycles were normal which made everything else easier. This time, I have been on met for a month, and this is my first real cycle on it - I also had a ton of EWCM this month, on CD 16, more than i've ever seen, so I too am cautiously optimistic that I ovulated my first month TTC this time.
I am now on CD 18, so here is to the 2 week wait, Issy!
