Default Could Lower Back Pain be caused....

I have now been suffering from lower back pain for over two weeks. At first I thought maybe I had pulled a muscle, but I found no sign of any tight muscles, there didn't seem to be any sweeling or hot spots that I usually associate with a pulled muscle and I didn't have any recollection of over strenuating myself. It was a pain that went all the way across my lower back just below my waist line. After the first few days I started get nausious and spent a good amount of time over a toilet, so I went to the doctor. I had a bad cold the week before my back started to hurt so my doctor just dismissed my pain as normal back ache from a flue bug. I looked at him strangly for I have had flu ache's and pains and this didn't feel like that at all. I asked him to test me for a kidney infection as well as pregnacy. I haven't had a period in over 7 months so I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant but you never know and my mother mentioned that when she first got pregnant she suffered from a lot of back pain. So now the test are in and I don't have a kidney infection and I am not pregnant. After about 6 days of horrible pain it finnally subsided to a level of tolerance, more a reminder and that once in a while I would move a certain way it would hurt. Like closing the car door once I was sitting in it. I had this mild pain for another five days till all of a sudden my left side started to hurt severly again, to a point that I can't streighten up and almost feel like I have one leg shorter then the other becuase my whole side seems to have clenched up. Now it's been three days of this pain.

Well now that I have given a discription of my suffering I will give my theory. I am wondering if this pain could possible be my ovaries trying to function again and that maybe one of my cystic eggs have been released finally? I have tried to find anyone with similar experiences and haven't had any luck. The pain seems to be about in the right area. my husband has give me massages and they don't really hurt, the pain seems to be deeper then that.

So have any of you heard of anything like this or experienced anything like this? I have been on met now for 3 1/2 months.
