ive read that it may cause birth defects but was wondering if, after i use the shampoo, if i am exposed to a pregnant woman will the baby have defects? does anyone know? or could anyone find out? i found that pg women wanna avoid it but what about indirect contact, i.e. thru a user of the shampoo?

I was a user of the shampoo and so far there is nothing wrong with my baby. It says on the bottle not to use (unless advied my a dr) while pg or breastfeeding.

Yeah until I found out at 6 weeks. I used it every other day in conjuction with Nexxus Vitatress and the two together worked pretty weel. I think it was really the Nizoral that stopped my shedding because I think my hair is shedding mroe now so I am looking for anything else I can use while pg and breastfeeding, just to be safe. I have not asked my doctor about it yet though.

oh yeah ive heard prenatal vitamins are good for hair skin & nails too. theres a vitamin called something like that, too, so one day i wanna compare it w/ the prenatal vitamins.
how did you use the nizoral? they say leave it on 3-5 minutes and i was using it every day for a while, i think a week but i stopped after i found out just a few times a week should suffice. but i wasnt leaving it on either... maybe it will still work.

I would use the Nizoral every other day with the Nexxus and what I do is shampoo my hair and then wash the rest of my body and call it done, then use the Vitatress spray in conditioner.

Could Nizoral be dangerous to unborn children? 
and u used it while pg??
