Hi everyone. I am not sure if I should be posting this here or not but here goes:
I have not been diagnosed with PCOS as of yet, but think it is the root of my problems based on what I have read. I am 24 and have been married for almost a year. I went off the pill about 6 months ago to get prego. Immediately after going off the pill my symptoms arose. I was having serious pelvic pain (I have always had pain, been on the pill since 15 for it), gained weight super fast (like 45 lbs in 2 months!), and I have been feeling soooo exhausted. Now two months ago my periods kinda stopped, all there was was some spotting. In November of last year, doc sent me for ultrasould, came back two complex cysts, 6 weeks later went again, cysts gone. The doc just had me take progesterone for 5 days and then I have to go have blood drawn this month, and my next appointment isnt until February 15th!!!
So, after all this I am left wondering if I have PCOS why is my doc taking soooo long to do anything about it? Any advice, and what do you all think? It looks like the cysters are more experts than the docs!! Thanks!
