Okay. I'm going to go ahead and do it. Today is my first day not plucking, so I have to wait about 4 weeks (maybe 6, depending on who I go to for the treatment).
Notes on my first day shaving: Wow - this is SO MUCH FASTER than plucking. But I can still see the hairs under the skin, and there are a few freaking hairs that didn't cooperate and feel stubbly. Otherwise, I feel smooth, and I'm confident enough to pull my hair back ('cause I was running late, but that's another story).
So far, so good!

Viv,
How is it going? Still not plucking? I am taking a break from laser--I went for months and now we're waiting to see how I do if I don't go for a while--but when I was going they told me that I could cut the hairs if I didn't want to shave. Just throwing that option out there for you. Hope you are on your way to being hairless, fast!

Still not plucking. I'm still glad that I'm done with my hair removal faster. But now I see ALL of the hair, every morning. Before, since they grew back at different rates, my facial hair didn't seem as bad. And there's one particularly stubborn hair that grows back SO FAST that I have to shave it twice a day (thank God, I only have to do my entire chin once a day).
Hubby accidentally walked by the bathroom the other morning while I was shaving (I left the door open). He did a double take, then just walked away shaking his head! He still says that I don't have facial hair, and he doesn't believe me when I say, "You just don't see it, since I take it off so fast."
The good news is that I saw my doc on Friday, and she said the Met is working. So, at least I don't have to worry about screwy hormones interfering with the laser hair removal!
I'm glad the Met is working for you! That's one thing down... And men are can be unobservant, so I guess you should take that as a good sign if he doesn't notice your hair. Everyone tells me that I don't have any facial hair problems but...yeah, I do. WE notice it, that's the most important.
