I went to Colorado this weekend for a wedding and I was dreading seeing my cousin pregnant. She is 24 weeks and stated that she did not want to tell anybody that she was pregnant, because the last time she had m/c, and it was too hard explaining to people. This was hard for me as I have had three miscarriages, one with multiples.
So, anywho, after the wedding I found out that she was in the hospital and now is on strict bedrest.
Please pray for her that she will be able to carry this pregnancy to full term.
First of all, I'm so sorry for you and your sister's losses. I'll also pray for your sister to have a healthy little baby, at full-term and for you and your sister's nerves so that you both can cope until the birth and have peace of mind. In a way, your story reminds me of Abram and Sarai from what we've been reading with the SCBSG. I know these words may not help much, but I am trying very hard to be sensitive to your worries and concerns, and if God wants it to be, then he'll let it be. Also, I read in a devotional I got through my email last week that it is wrong for us as Christians to worry, because it is saying to God that we think that even though he created the world with just a breath, destroyed the world with just a breath (during the Great Flood), and brought his son to save us all with just a breath, that he cannot help us with our problems. That is a serious lack of faith on our part that all of us are guilty of at some stage. The email made me think because sometimes we need to tell ourselves not to think that the problem is out of God's hands. If we pray hard enough, and God is willing, then your sister will have a MIRACLE baby!!!! A miracle baby just like that of Abram and Sarai. A miracle baby.
I'll leave you with that thought. And remember you have someone praying for you, your sister, and her little baby. This must be a trying time for the entire family, but I pray that God will see you all through this in whatever way he sees best. And he will.
Take care and God Bless.
BIG hugs and kisses,
Christina
Thank you so much for your prayers. I guess I need to pray for acceptance that she is pregnant and I am not, with her being able to have a healthy baby.
