Well, it makes sence that Met makes the cramps worse, since one of it's side effects are cramps. There are a couple things you can do. One is to make absolutely certain that you are taking a vitamin supplement (especially if you are on met, as it depletes the body of several vitamins). Here is a really good one. It is specifically made for "that time of the month" for cramps, bloating, irritibality, moodyness.... basically all PMS symptoms. It works WONDERFULLY!! Take it the 10 days prior to AF. It really works well, I use it regularly.

BUT you should still take a regular vitamin/mineral supplement the rest of the month, especially B vitamins (which are the vitamins that balance the hormones).
