I am on cycle day 17; no sign of ovulation but my temps go up and down. I took clomid days 5-9 and today i'm having occasional cramping. It's like a dull ache that is in the lower abdominal area and sometimes my lower back. It's too early for AF I think.

When I go to the Dr for my follicle scans he always asks me if I am feeling any crampiness down there. He thinks that if I do it is because my follicles are growing. The many times that clomid did not work for me, I usually felt nothing. This cycle, however, I have felt lots of cramping, and sure enough there are a couple follicles growing, so I would say your follicles are growing and you are about to ovulate maybe. Hope so!

Thanks for this post guys! I'm on CD11 from femara and I have been cramping for the last 2-3 days for some unknown reason--but no positive OPK yet! I was starting to get sort of depressed, but you all just gave me HOPE!

On my u/s on Tuesday, my follies were small and had had no pain or sign of follie growth. However, this evening I have started experiencing slight pain and I think it is the follies growing....I hope. I go back for another u/s on Monday. I, too, am on femara. Last cycle everything was great by cd12 u/s. This time...not good. Not sure what's going on, just hope it's working now. Good luck!

Im on clomid and have had cramping for the last 3days, finally got a +opk and temp rise! So I think it just means the med's are working! Good luck

I also hope it means that the meds are working! I can't tell by my temps cause they go up and down. I have not bought any OPKS yet, I was going to wait until next cycle to try them.

This thread is so useful! I always wonder about that "pinching" and cramping.
I had cramping a few days ago just exactly like you describe, and then today I started getting lots of EWCM, so I'm hoping ovulation is here or will be soon. I haven't seen AF for a couple months now so I'm really hoping I'll see her or (please please!) a BFP!!

That is exactly why I love coming to this board. So many of us are in the exact same boat. I just feel like this board really understands what I am going through. Better than the regular ttc boards.

I get cramping just before ov. Usually about 3 to 4 days before up to ov day. Its like being poked with a pencil in the side down below. I also sometimes get the same pain the day before i get af. Last month it was bad, I'm sure a cyst popped that day. Ouch! | |
