So, we had our 3rd IUI on Wednesday. I usually cramp that day and the day after however this time I am still cramping more than I did the other two time and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Is that normal???

I don't know... I've had 2 IUIs and had some cramping that day and into the evening with both of them but I don't know about the nausea...that's a new one for me. Have you called your RE just to check?

Recent Cycle Info: Cycle 4 2009 - 7.5 mg Femara CD 3-7, Repronex injections CD 8-19, HCG Trigger CD 20, IUI CD 22, BFN
Cycle 5 2009 - Repronex injections CD 3-12, HCG Trigger CD 13, IUI CD 15, Progesterone injections daily, BFN
Cycle 6 2009 - Repronex injections CD 3-13, HCG Trigger CD 14, IUI CD 16, Progesterone injections daily, BFN
Cycle 1 2010 - Repronex injections twice daily CD 3-9, HCG Trigger CD 10, Timed Intercourse, Progesterone injections daily
I would call your RE. I know that it affects everyone differently, but nausea is not a good thing. I've had cramping only the day of the IUI. But since this is prolonged, you should see your RE.

I think I will call tomorrow. I don't know if I am coming down with a flu or something and thats why I feel nausous, because I just started getting body aches (mostly in my back) and I am super tired.

I had IUI yesterday and today, but had lots of cramping last night. I asked my RE this am and he said it could be my ovaries or a side effect of the IUI. I'm extra bloated today too.
You know, Sheera, it just came to me that your cramping could be a side effect from the trigger. I got bloated and very crampy for about 4 days post trigger. It can be easy to confuse that with the IUI, so that's a possibility.

WifeyC, thanks I am also feeling pretty bloated, the cramps seem to be worse at night if that even makes sense. Today I am feeling better, but I did wake up last night with some bad cramps and pretty nausous again. I don't know whats going on with me? Could it be the follistim? That is the only new thing I did this cycle.

It could definitely be the follistim. Your ovaries may be slightly enlarged, too, making any bloating you have from gas feel a thousand times worse. My guess right now would be that your medications are causing the discomfort.

I am having the same issue and am still having it on and off and I am 7dpiui. Especially the ovary pain and it is worse at night. I asked the RE and was told the following: When your body releases the eggs, those follies fill with fluid keeping your ovaries plump. That fluid is what supports the pregnancy until the placenta is formed. She said that sitting/lying going to the bathroom could all cause extra pain because everything is compressing on your ovaries.
I thought that sounded like a good thing...?....
