Hello all. Did anyone exp cramping pains with Provera? I am having a hard time figuring out if it is from my Provera or my Metformin. Sometimes the cramps are quite bad but I don't recall having them with my Metformin before I started Provera. Does anyone else have this?

Metformin 1500mg
Provera 5mg (3 x daily)
Clomid 50mg (cd 2-6)
Pronatal Vitamins (daily)

Cycle#1- FF states I O'd on cd23 now in 2WW!

Oh, I had a HORRIBLE time with Provera, but only during AF, which was induced shortly after taking the pills. I don't know how to describe it except that every side effect of the time of month was magnified. The cramps were worse, the flow was heavier and I was experiencing chocolate and red meat cravings like mad!

If you've just started both, talk to your doctor and ask if you can get rid of the Provera. I did when I started Met and found it regulated things just fine. I've had a period every month, something I couldn't say before.

I am on my 7th day of taking Provera. I only had cramping on the 2nd day, but still no AF...still waiting

Yes I had them real bad almost felt like Labour pains when I was having my daughter but I was eating Pamprin like candy!

Pipergirl give it time it took 7 days after the last provera pill to start my period! And then baby it was on (TMI it was a heavy flow)
