I'm getting cryotherapy done on my cervix on the 11th - right smack dab in the middle of the week. I'm taking that day off, but the doctor assured me I probably wouldn't need more than that off. However, I don't want to blindside my boss (I'm a temp, so I don't want the client to get mad, you know?) so I want to give her a heads-up today. Anyone had it before? How much time did you need before you were coherent and capalble of being nice to people you don't really like?

I had this done about two years ago, I would go ahead and take a second day off, just to be sure, I was kind of light headed, although, when they did the cervical scraping, I was worse, then with the cryo.

I had cryotherapy done in April, and I had it done on a Friday, but I felt well enough to go back to work the next day. But prepare yourself I had a clear discharge for three weeks(yuck). After the procedure I felt really swollen and achy, but I took tylenol and that went away. I would say go ahead and tell your boss that you might not be able to work Thursday so they can have a back up plan and your are covered in case your do not feel well enough to go to work.
oh, yeah, that's right, I forgot about the discharge.
It was like water, and there was a LOT of it.

definitely not pantyliner - I used the Always pads that I usually use for AF. I had to change every 1-2 hours.
