Default Cycle getting more regular on Met

Hello

Ive been on Met since Oct 07, and have just started my 3rd period since being on it.

I had one in Oct induced by Provera, then i had a bleed in Jan and now one in Feb, this one came 30 days after the start of the last one, im amazed - never had one so close to a 28day cycle before.

Have noticed the last 2 times, that my period starts with some spotting and takes 2 days to start properly and by day 3-4 i get lots of pain, the pains have started this morning, and sorry if TMI but when it hurts i run to the loo lots,

The other good news is that im having a 2 wk blitz of doing my weight watchers points and going to the gym every other day to see how much of a diff i can make to my weight - hoping it will encourage me to carry on. Im doing it now because my partner has gone to Australia for 2wks and i want to look my best when he returns, its also easier to do points when he isn't cooking lovely tasty meals and pouring wine. When he returns though im going to try and push him in a slightly healthier direction. Im trying to have minimal carbs as well.
Apart from carbs in my breakfast cereal and a few in the odd tin of soup im being a fresh fruit n veg, steamed fish and grilled chicken girl for 2 wks. Im sure i should lose by cutting out the wine, 2 glasses a night tots up the calories by the end of the week.

Will let you know how i go next week, i weighed in on Sat 9th Feb, so this Sat will be weigh in day again!

Take care x

Congrats on your periods becoming more regular, painful periods do suck though. I can't stand it when my periods are really painful, they have been so bad to the point where I actually vomit.

Good luck on your weight loss/lifestyle change. I know exactly what you mean though, living with my partner is really hard on the waistline.. he eats constantly and in turn I end up picking at things I wouldn't usually if he wasn't around. haha.

Keep us posted on your progress and good luck!

Hoping that Met regulates my period and I no longer have to take Provera to induce AF.
