Default cyproterone acetate anyone?
the doctor has me on this med called cyproterone acetate for my hirsitism (sp?).
I don't think it is working for me though.
Is anyone else on this medication?

Hi Nightrider,
I used to take Diane 35, it contains two medications in one, etinyl estradiol (estrogen-like hormone) and cyproterone acetate (but at a very small dose). I found this product wonderful for my hirsutism and acne, but i hope your doctor did warn you that usually takes time, there is no miracle pill, at least three months, in the usual cases for you to start seeing some effects, so load yourself with patience, keep on reading and learning about PCOS in the meanwhile and hopefully things will start to get better, don't despair, believe it or not i consider you SO LUCKY because you began to manage this at such an early stage. Can i ask how much additional cyproterone did he prescribe you?

Actually I have been on Cyproterone Acetate for almost 3 years, Right now I take 50 mg a day from day 5 to day 15 of the 28 day cycle of Diane-35
