Unhappy Cyst rupture?? What happened?!

Hello! I am 23 and was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago but have been dealing with symptoms since 16. Last night I was stretching and bent over a couple times to touch the floor. I stood up and felt a twitch in my left ovary and put my hands on both of them and said to my boyfriend "Man, they're so big lately." About a minute later I was on the couch and it felt like I was ovulating. I haven't had a period in 2 months so I was excited (I'm also trying to get pregnant). The sharp pain in my ovary didn't stop, it just kept getting sharper. Within a minute I couldn't move because the pain was so bad. The pain seemed to spread to my uterus and after 20 minutes, I was considering going to the hospital. The thought of standing, let alone having to get in my car and go over a number of speed bumbs was just awful. Instead, I had my grandparents bring me a few pain killers and in 3 hours, I was finally able to sleep. This morning it still hurts, it's also very hard to pee. Was this a cyst rupture? Should I see a doctor? I'm very broke right now and work over 40 hours a week so I don't want to do anything uncecessary but I also don't want to cause any damage. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks for reading

it sure sounds like a ruptured cyst. there's not much a dr can do for it now, so it may be a waste of money to go, but what worries me is that you're having a hard time going pee...but that could be from the stress and pain of the cyst bursting.

That's exactly why I didn't go to the hospital. I figured all they could do was give me pain meds and I'm not waiting 6 hours in a cold, uncomfortable ER for that! Over the course of the day the peeing has gotten better. I'm assuming when I peed this morning I was so sore and still in pain that it was hard to let loose and release. Thank you sooo much for the info!
