I have no yet been diagnosed with PCOS, but it is what I am assuming I have from the symptoms I have. I have hirsutism, just recently I have started to get dandruff, I have a few skin tags, and after getting an ultrasound they found 2 cysts, 1 in each ovary. BUT I do not have irregular periods, I am not overweight, nor do I have a hormone imbalance. Is there still a chance I have PCOS?
Here is what the findings were from my ultrasound: The uterus measures 6.8x3.2x5.5cm and has a partial deplication of the endometrial cavity (uterus subseptus type which is incomplete resorption of the median septum). The endometrium is not thickened. The right ovary measures 3.2x2.2x2.5 cm and has a cyst 2.0x2.1x1.7mc. Left ovary measures 4.2x2.7x3.9mc including a cyst with a fairly thick single septum. Interrogation with Doppler documents blood flow to both ovaries. The cyst measures 3.7x1.5x1.7cm. No free fluid in the cul-de-sac.
IMPRESSION: 1. Partial duplication of the uterine cavity )subseptate uterus). There is no appreciable deformity of the external contours of the uterus.
2. Bilateral ovarian cysts with the left cyst having at least one fairly thick septum.
ok that is what the paper that came with my ultrasound says. What does this sound like to yall? The cysts measurements seem to be kind of big to me, or am I wrong? I havent gone to an endo yet and am making an appt for that tomorrow...well its actually an obgyn that I am going to. Does this sound like PCOS or endometriosis to yall? I am so worried please help!
