Robin D. Washington is a Southern Illinois University doctoral student seeking women diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) to participate in this study. The main focus of this study is to identify problems women with PCOS may face with daily activities, self-esteem, and experiences in employment. PCOS is a disorder that can lead to absent or irregular periods, baldness, obesity, facial hair and extra body hair.

Information gained from this study will be useful in understanding
PCOS and developing interventions to improve women's well-being and quality of life. The identities of all participants will remainconfidential and all responses will be reported in an anonymous manner.

Women should meet the following criteria:
· Diagnosis of PCOS
· 25-40 of age
· No history of a hysterectomy
· A stable employment history of 20 months or more with
full-time paid employment
· Able to fully participate in the study
· No history of insulin dependent diabetes

Requirements:
· Two face-to-face interviews will be conducted.
· Review of transcribed responses in order to assure
accuracy.
· Completion of a questionnaire

Payment of $100.00 will be made contingent on subjects completing all aspects of the research, including interviews, questionnaire, and transcript review.

If interested contact:
Robin D. Washington at 405-475-9205 OR email: RWashi4203@aol.com

ROBIN WILL BE IN NEW ORLEANS/BATON ROUGE AREA THIS WEEKEND TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS!

Thanks for posting that information. Are you participating in the study? I emailed Robin and hopefully I'll hear from her soon.
