Does anyone have this? I get cysts on my body...mostly on my inner thighs and between my um...rolls. But I have also gotten them on my vulva (those are the WORST) and on my buttcrack.
I'm wondering what you can do for them. They are painful, and embarrassing! Anyone????

I get them mainly on my inner thighs and vigina (inner and outer, MOSTLY outer) and on my buttocks as well. I also get them sometimes in my air pit, and have just now started getting them on my under side of my breasts. I don't know how to cure them or anything. I also have OCD so i pick and pick and pick at them even though i KNOW it's wrong and no matter how much it hurts i HAVE to pop them. and now i have so many ugly indents and scars. I don't (well i didn't when i had my ultra sound a few years ago) have cysts on my ovaries. I always just thought that since i didn't have them on my ovaries i got them on my vagina instead? i dunno. Glad to know i'm not the other one though.

Interesting. I don't have cysts on my ovaries, either! Maybe there's a link there.....
wow really!?! how odd. i wonder if that is a reason. hmmm I seriously just always assumed that's why i had them on the outside instead of the inside, but never really had any like proof or anything, it was just always a thought/feeling i had. now you've peaked my interest LOL

I have been getting "cyst's" on my inner thighs since a child, and my mom always told me that I was just getting heat rash since I was a 'heavy' child, however my doctor thinks that it is more then just a heat rash. She has referred me to see a Dermatologist because she believes that the cysts are related to Hidradenitis. About 4 years ago my aunt was dx with "HIDE" and before that there has never been a mention of it in our family history. But we will see what the Dermatologist says next week! =)
mine's not really rash like though. It's more like a really really big pimple or whitehead, but it's not.

I get these things all the time. In fact I have one now that's been there for about 6 months. It draines alot (sorry tmi). I go the GYNO next week. I'm going to have him take a look. He told me the last time I saw him to come in when I got another one and he would take a samlpe from it. I've tried to make appt's but can never seem to be available at the times he has appt's. They are a pain to have...that's for sure. I get them around my butt/vagina area. Nasty things

I have been getting them for years. I have had them on my back, my thighs, my butt and even on my face. According to a dermatolagist they are absesses. After having to get many of these lanced as well as having one infect my blood I have started being proactive. I took a doctors advice and purchased HIBICLENS Antiseptic/Antimicrobial Skin Cleanser from my pharmacy. It is in a green bottle. They use it in hospitals to kill microorganisms that cause infection. I use it once a week all over. I also will use it in any spot that looks suspicious daily. I have not had an absess in five months. My doctors have called them boils, absesses, or cysts. All I know is using this antibacterial soap has helped. You can only buy it from a pharmacy and many times they keep it behind the counter. One small bottle cost about six dollars but it is worth it to aviod all that pain. Another brand of the same type of soap is Phisohex but I have had trouble finding it lately. Ask your pharmasist what he/she recommends.
My doctor said that a kind of staff infection was causing me to develop all those absesses and that using this type of soap would help kill those germs.
mine are due to hidradenitis supperativa, like pblayzod said

I have gotten them in my 'nether regions' before, and they are painful. Never really got larger than the size of a pea, but still painful and rather disgusting to lance. *shudder*
I've lately been struggling with cystic acne on my jawline...only on my right side, oddly enough. And it doesn't go away entirely - it lingers, until it flares up again before AF. It's painful, and feels as if someone has punched the side of my face. Ow.

Put on highest dose of Met for 2 years. No change. Symptoms worsening.
Doctor now suspects Cushing's Disease. In the throws of getting tests for a diagnosis.
Not TTC. Not on any BCP as I've tried many, and each made me ill.
I don't (well i didn't when i had my ultra sound a few years ago) have cysts on my ovaries.
I get cystic acne in my armpits, on my breasts, and on my thighs. I also had a ganglion cyst surgically removed from my left wrist and a non-PCOS cyst on my left ovary to be removed in addition to the PCOS cysts. I feel like I'm a cyst farm. I can only hope that by treating the PCOS that this stuff will clear up.

This could be way off, but do you sleep on that side of your face? I've noticed that sometimes I get outbreaks only on one side of my face, and it's the side I sleep on. If you change your pillowcase every day it helps.
