 Cystic mass in myometrium
Hi not sure where to post this one, feel free to move if need be.
Day 7 after a cancelled cycle of FSH injections (4 follicles) and the baseline ultrasound today showed a "small cystic mass in the myometrium" with lots of question marks around the myometruim statment from the fertility doc. He wants to see me again in 2 days to check on it and I had blood taken also (he thinks it may be a blood clot that hasn't passed)
Anyone with a similar expenrience?? If not a blood clot what else could it be? It's in the muscular tissue of the uterus (I am definitely NOT pregnant). He said he doubts if it is a fibroid. I don't see how it could be one of the follies gone astray. It showed up as a "shadow" This of course freaked me out (I straight away think the c word) although I remained calm as the doc and sonographer talked about me as if I wasn't there during the scan. They said I could go ahead and start injections again tonight so i just dunno. Can a cyst form there? What would cause a cyst to form there? HELP!!
