Default Cysts

Ok so I went to the dr on Thursday of last week and had another pelvic sonogram only to have the nurse tell me today that the cyst on my right ovary has not changed and I now have a cyst on my left ovary. The nurse was not suppose to tell me anything but she did and I do not know if they are cancer free or what. I have to wait all day until the dr gets out of surgery before I will know anything. I want to know if anyone has had any experience with this and if so what has the dr decided to do...was the options surgery because apparently the meds are not working. Any help would be great.

I went through this three years ago, and I am going through it again right now. The cysts on my right ovary got huge, and three years ago I had my rt. ovary, fallopian tube, etc. removed. The cysts were benign.

I just went to new ob a couple of months ago, and found out I have tons of cysts on my remaining ovary. Tried meds for two months to dissolve them, and of course they didn't work.

I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy on July 7th. IMO (and that of my new ob) , and since I was done having kids, they should have just performed the hysterectomy three years ago. I am so frustrated about using a bunch of my vacation and sick time for something like this again. And, I am worried about the outcome because we are not 100% sure whether its benign or malignant this time.

Good Luck with whatever you decide.
