Has anyone taken this to induce a m/c? I plan to take it in a couple of days if the m/c does not happen naturally. My Dr gave me an idea of what to expect but I would really appreciate any other advice. Thanks.
They used Cytotec on me to help dilate my cervix a tiny bit more when I m/c. It's expensive stuff.
For me, it didn't cause that bad of cramping... but I was sorta emotionally numb that day, so I can't say for sure.

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
I was given Miso with both of my 2nd trimester losses. It took a while the first time, and it took several doses. The second time it worked quickly, only one dose. My second baby was delivered after about 4hrs. I had menstrual like cramping that later got pretty bad. I had an epidural the first time, the second time I had stadol which had barely taken effect before the baby was delivered. The stadol took away most of the pain but, I could feel the baby coming.

I wound up having a D&C instead of taking Cytotec, but my OB had given me a script for it with my first loss. She told me to expect "heavy cramping" and that was pretty much it. I'm so sorry you're having to do this, and make these kinds of decisions...
