Thread: d&c and constant headaches

hi i had a d&c ten days ago and ive had horrible headaches ever since.ive been bleeding quite heavy but over past few days it has got lighter so im not sure if that has anything to do with it or maybe the meds they gave me to put me to sleep.apart from the headaches the blood is beginning to ease up and im a little sore down below and around uteras etc but it just seems to be the headaches that are holding me back
should i get something from the gp or is it normal at this stage, ive tried regular painkillers like paracetomol etc but they dont seem to help

any advice would be apprechiated

mollie...I would give your Dr a call and see if you can go in. 10 days after a d&c I don't think you should be having much pain if any. I've had two D&C's this past year due to m/c and I had very mild pain after the procedure was over and maybe a little the next day but then I was totally fine after that. Not sure what could be causing the headaches though.
