There was an advertisement on this website for d-chiro-inositol made by a company called Chiral Balance. This is the web link http://www.chiralbalance.com/. It is a mother/son business that manufactures the vitamin. I understand that it was first patented by Insmed, but I don't know how they can patent a vitamin. If it is patented, I don't know how this company can produce it. I notice the dosage is less from Chiral Balance than was tested at Insmed. Maybe that is why they can produce it ........... anyway, has anyone purchased this? Does it work for you? How long before results? Are they the only manufacturers around?

Insmed was developing a drug using (or based on) the natural substance. The develpment has since been abandoned.
