Default Dads..

pcos is supposed to be genetic, but i couldn't find a link to anyone in my family because i never considered the men.
yesterday i found out my dad has prostate cancer. i believe the cancer is a symptom of imbalance happening in his body. i've been googling non stop but wondered if any of you considered what our dad's may have going on with hormonal imbalances. some of the suppliments that are suggested here are located in the men's health section of the vitamin store like saw palmetto. we too are at an increased cancer risk because of pcos and i feel that men may have their own form of this. please post any info you have that may make the link between the two or just your thoughts and opinions.

I hope your father's prognosis is a good one!

My dad's got insulin resistance and his side of the family has a history of diabetes. He also had a high whatever-that-was count that points toward prostate cancer. Fortunately he didn't have it, but I'm sure his side of the family gave my issues to me.
