Hopeful~ Thanks for asking about me. I'm still lurking around. Its been a long week. But I am looking forward to the weekend and a fresh start next week. I find the scriptures posted very comforting though.

Isaiah 26:3 You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.

So a few years ago my mother gave me a new bible. I don't pick it up and look through it as often as I should. Instead tonight I drug out my old tattered bible that is near twenty years old. If I am going to continue using it I will have to tape the front and back cover back on. For some reason I take more comfort in the battered old thing opposed to the new one that has pages that are still fresh. Maybe because it has seen me through so many good and difficult times.
