I haven't been here in a long while, but I guess I'm not sure what to do, lol. I don't know if I go back to my RE or if I need to go somewhere else til I want to get pg again?

I was diagnosed by my RE in 2003, I got pg, and I went off Met when I was pg because it was killing me, lol. So, baby is now 17 months old and I want to get the PCOS under control, I feel the insulin resistance is creeping up on me, and I think I need to go back on Met again, but I don't know if I'm supposed to go back to my RE, he is a big wig in infertility and I love him, but I'm not ready to get pg again as my baby is still nursing and I don't know if he will see me to just treat the PCOS until I'm ready for baby #3. I guess I need to call, lol.

Anyway, is there a good dr around the Rockwall/Garland or even Dallas, my RE is at the big Baylor hospital that will treat you if you're not actively trying to get pg??

Did you find anyone? I'm looking for a new doctor as well in the Dallas/Plano area. So few choices with my health insurance, plus looking for one with any knowledge of PCOS. I'm thinking about having a consultation with Dr. James Douglas in Plano, but not sure about it. I hate having to look for new doctors.

Dr. Ellen Wilson @ Univ of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is a RE. I was not ttc, but concerned about my future decision of pg. She was nice, attentive, & knowledge about pcos.
