Default Dance, Dance Revolution and Weight loss...

Does anyone have DDR?

I just posted an interesting story over at TWWW about a girl who lost 95lbs playing DDR. It's not the first time I've heard of this. I played it once a long time ago, and have to admit that it was LOADS of fun...

Here's the story...

LOL! I couldnt help but smile when I saw this thread...
This game helped me lose the primary amount of my weight at the beginning of my weight lose regime and exercise.
Although im not a teen now, when I first started weight loss it was boring going to the gym. This game helped a heck of a lot to keep things interesting and to not give up!

I have a ton of friends that play it, and I just played it for the first time the other day! What was great was that the friend I played against was a close friend, and she'd never played before, either!

I have to admit, it IS a great workout, and very addictive! (^.^)

I've seen younger people playing this game at the mall. I'd love to try it but am too embarassed because of my weight.

Nightrider - you'll find the game at Amazon. Under their search engine, change All Products to Video Games and type Dance Dance Revolution into the empty box below it.

They have a number of DDR games. Most of them are for PS2 which we don't have but I did find one for PS1 that I'm considering getting.

Here's a link: www.amazon.com I ran a search which brought up all their DDR products and tried to link directly to that page, but the link just won't work.

I've seen the game played and have a bunch of friends at college with the game. I'm thinking about starting to play it to help me lose some weight. I've gained a lot while at college because its so hard to watch what I eat, so I think that maybe this would be a good way to lose some of it...
