Lightbulb dark skin fix-all

Okay. I have told a few people about this already but I still see people posting about dark skin patches so maybe this could become a sticky for everyone to view? I have dealt with the dark patches ever since becoming a teen. I am almost 21 now so I know how hard it can be. Not only is it dark in my underarms but it is thick and sometimes it itches. I also have a dark "ring" around my neck, especially in the back, as well as between the twins... Do you notice that if you get a cut or a bug bite or something that it turns dark after it's healed and stays that way? It doesn't go back to the same color as the rest of your skin? I've experienced that as well. However, a couple summers ago I decided enough was enough. I went on drugstore.com and bought a fade cream. Now.... I'm not 100% sure about the underarms as I almost never apply it there, but it sure worked in other places. It used to be super dark in the area in between the twins on my chest, and after using the cream 1-2 times a day for a week at most, it disappeared and didn't return for at least a couple of months. In fact I haven't really used it since probably January and I am just now barely noticing the darkness returning. It's called Palmer's eventone fade cream. I believe I purchased the one for oily skin, as I sometimes used it on my face after a nasty acne bout and my face is both dry and oily at the same time. I will now include a link to drugstore.com where both eventone fade creams may be purchased --oily or regular.

I hope this helps some of you as it has me, and I hope this becomes a sticky!
