Default Is dating easier?

I'm a bisexual woman, but i've never actually dated a woman.
Do you guys think dating women is a little easier when you have PCOS?
I ask because i've always had a hard time with the hair growth, and men aren't always as understanding as we hope.
I would imagine that women would be a little more forgiving when it comes to things like that.
So would you say that you find dating women any easier in that aspect?

Depends on the woman, just like it depends on the man when that is who you date. Most of my girlfriends have understood the struggle more, but still wanted the same appearance standards as my boyfriends did. SO no, it wasn't any easier. I still had to strive to match a certain beauty standard that required me to work harder than a woman that doesn't have PCOS and all of it's lovely side effects.

That makes sense.
I've only had experiences with two women, and one of them noticed the hair issue. She didn't have a problem with it at all, so that's why I asked this question.

I've actually found women to be LESS accepting of my hair growth. I don't have hair on my back or chest or arms and only a few on my lip and chin, but the hair on my legs (from ankle all the way up) is out of control. The women I've dated have been less accepting than the men. I have two theories about this: (1.) I, being fairly femme, often date women who like feminine women and they don't like leg hair. (2.) lot of women get so programmed to see their own hair as "bad" that they view other women's hair as bad, too.

That's too bad. I was just curious because a gay friend of mine is dating a woman with PCOS and she has a fairly bad hair problem on her face. I asked my friend how she felt about it and she said she couldn't see it ever being a problem because she loved her girlfriend so much and the thought of a little hair is such a ridiculous thing to judge.
I think it's pretty admirable, consider what the two of you have said.

She's got one lucky girlfriend, that's for sure!
