Dayton Ohio need doctor

Hi, I'm looking for an RE and a family doctor that actually GET PCOS. Oh the number of doctors that just don't seem to know very much about PCOS. They know what it is but that's about it.

Hey ddeannie- I am also from Dayton and am trying to find a RE doctor locally. Until now I had been seeing my ob/gyn who is actually in the Mason area, but we don't seem to be having much luck so far with Clomid. My ob/gyn recommended that we see a RE, but wasn't really able to recommend anyone in this area as she is based in Cincinnati. Some of the suggestions from the ladies on the Ohio Pen Pal board were to consider Dr.Burwinkel, he is part of Kettering Reproductive Medicine. There are also a few Drs associated with Wright State Physician Group.

I see an RE in northern Cincinnati (Blue Ash). I don't know how long of a drive that is for you, but I drive about 1.5 hours each way to see her. I have been thrilled with her. I started seeing her several years ago, and she treated me for PCOS and finally listened to my other concerns (pain) and did a lap and diagnosed me with endometriosis. She has been great for my general PCOS care as well as for TTC.

Her name is Jennifer Thie. Her website is thiemd.com I know there are several cysters on the board who have seen her.

Dr. Aubuchon at the Center for Reproductive Health at the Christ Hospital is great! She specializes in PCOS. I didn't even know what it was until she diagnosed me with it. It's in Cincinnati, but might be worth the drive.
