Moredd- I dont have any research on the cinnamon, but that is my personal experience. It seemed to dry up my fertile cervical mucus. Now I am feeling more w*t down below, MUCH more! TMI!! That is interesting that we both noticed the same side effect in the intamicy department. It can only be good right?

I had(I think 100 gms of glucose) 3 hour Glucose Tolerence Tests with 2-3 of my pregnancies. And the last one I got, I felt like fainting and got dizzy. I said NO MORE! So in my 4th pregnancy, I told the doctor I did not want to do another 3 hour GTT. She accepted it. It made me feel awful, they had to take me to the ER.

Cysters, look at this DCI testemonial I just found......

So I have been taking dci for almost 3 weeks now - and I started it about 9 days into my cycle but I definitely O'd. Yay! On my own too!! That happens naturally maybe once or twice a year.

i've broken out for the second time since i started dci... i'm not one to have this much acne so often, and i've been sooo crabby, so i hope this is some sign that AF is coming... i have weird sensations in my stomach and i don't crave certain foods anymore... i don't know if they are cramps because i didn't really get cramps when my cycle used to be normal... i had them when i first started the dci and i'm having them again now... is anyone who recently started dci having cramp-like sensations, too?

booghie- Yes, I do have cramping down there. I keep thinking AF is coming or maybe ovulation, but so far not yet.

Yes, Soy Lecithin can be used. It is very high in DCI. You have to take a large amount of Lecithin, though. Like 1/2 cup or something like that to get around 1200 mg? I will get some links for you to research it out.

http://pcosinfo.com/blog/food/ has a recipe that is high in DCI for a morning smoothie. The authour says she lost wieght on it.

For me, I have tried the Soy Lecithin before and it made me feel depressed and have weird thoughts that I should not have had. This is a side effect, but maybe not all poeple have it.

You need about 57.14 grams of Lecithin to equal 1200 mg of D chiro inositol. That would equal over 1/2 cup. If you have a small dieters scales and purchase your Lecithin, you can wiegh it out and see exactly how much it is........

Here is an example........

http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Lecit...4-g/16569?at=0

It would be hard to eat that much Lecithin unless you put it in a smoothie, or baking everyday, but some poeple do it!

At 7 calories per gram it would be quite a lot of calories so it would need to be taken into account. However it is low carb!

i'm still taking 1200 mg of dci supplements. i've added 15g of lecithin granules (to get more dci for my weight with less cost) to my cereal in the morning and I AM VERY AWAKE!!!! as if someone kicked me or something! it's great!!! when the supplements are done, i might just increase the amount of granules by sprinkling it on two meals instead of just one.

Amber2 - 57g is about 2 oz

Thanks I have decided that 2 oz of soya lecithin a day is a bit much and fairly expensive (to make sure it is non GM) so I have taken the plunge and ordered some DCI. I know the import tax is going to be expensive so I ordered 4 months supply and used the PCOS challenge discount code. I don't know how long they will take to arrive though, I expect at least a week.

amber2 - ya, if you want non GM, then it comes out to a little more than the price of DCI supplements.

Are any of you also on Metformin? Can it be dangerous to combine metaformin with chirobalance since they are both suppose to affect your blood sugar. I am desperate for relief and to lose weight, nothing seems to work!
