The thing I noticed very first when I started taking DCI was my skin got softer and my craving went away. I know I was very impatient when I started taking it and I wanted it to be fixed and me pregnant NOW! But everyone told me give it 6-8 wks. They were right. I started taking it on April 8 and my hair is not near as oily, acne so much better, and the hair growth has slowed down quite a bit. I'm still not preggers but am hoping this cycle will be the one. Another thing I can actually cycle now...I've had only two spontaneous periods in my entire life, one at 15 the other at 20. I'm now 31. So for me to cycle it's nothing short of a miracle in my mind. I wish you luck!!!

Hi Teresa
Thanks for sharing your experience. I will keep taking the DCI and hope my symptoms start to improve after 8 weeks. I will cry of happiness if I stop losing my hair and if my skin stops resembling an aligator :-)
Good luck TTC this cycle!!!!

self - portrait - I am so sorry for you MC - but you have a perfect angel now with you all the time. I think your cycle is off because of that - it happened in may and its only June - with the PCOS it can take a while - you may want to try progesterone cream - this has help me before. also keep taking the dci and look for little things at first I noticed my pors are a lot smaller now. my cravings stopped not hungry and lots of energy - This is a hard time for your heart and body - Don't forget to breath - My AF is crazy I am about do for another AF, but I have stopped paying attention, because I was just so crazy over it - now I want a baby more then anything, but I want my body to feel good the DCI has helped with that - Please keep me posted and if you need to screem let it out - we will all listen!!!!

okay this is my second day with the Beet Juice and molasses - its not to bad, but I have a chaser of pomegranate juice for after - _ may not be as puffy around my overies, and now I think about it my back did not hurt at all - so maybe my cyste are calming down. (maybe) - but I still LOVE my DCI!!

self portrait - Welcome to the group! I'm so sorry about your MC, I agree with Reags that your cycle may take a little while to get back on track and the PC might help with that.

reags - I'm glad to hear the beet/molasses combo is going well thus far. Keep me updated on it!

I've been on the dci pills 1200mg for 2 weeks now and doing great. The pills I'm finding to be much more convenient than trying to make muffins or pancakes every couple of days. Also getting the higher dose seems to be helpful for me. So far one of the biggest pluses has been having so much more energy than before. Fatigue has been a major issue for me for a long time and dci seems to be lifting that! My skin is so clear and my hair is falling out less (I haven't had too much hair loss in the past, but is something I've noticed so far improving). Still waiting for the facial hair to slow down, but I'm willing to wait and see how it is after 4 months on the dci

I just ordered this and can't wait to begin. I think the price has come down some recently. If you order one bottle of 60(600mg) pills it is only $59. If you order more you get a discount, so I ordered four and it cost $212 before shipping. Still alot of money, but not as much as I remember it being. I ordered four so I could give a really good try. I am very excited to add this to my large bunch of natural remedies! When I start, I will keep everyone posted on my progress.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Just started taking DCI 2 weeks ago, and was trying to be cautious about "noticing results." So yeah, initially, I thought my appetite was curbing and that I no longer wanted sugar ad nauseam, but thought I might be imagining it. Then I realized I had lost 6lbs, when normally a 1lb took forever, and started to believe it might be helping. Finally, this morning, I went to remove my "moustache" (which I do once a week for extensive fuzz, in addition to plucking a few coarse ones every other day), and realized I did not have to!!!! AMAZING!

I guess the final test will be getting my blood levels re-drawn in a month or so.......and if I ever got pregnant.....

Thanks NatBean and Reags!

Yes, it seems logic that my hormones are a mess after the MC.
I wasn't even TTC when I got a positive HPT. I was scared at first when I read "pregnant" on that Clearblue digital test... I hadn't seriously considered the idea of having a baby. But after the initial shock, I was thrilled!!!! My husband and I went baby shopping that same day and started thinking of possible names for the baby. Our world was transformed in less than 24 hours. I felt blessed that I didn't go trough the TTC stress like most PCOS women. But then... only 2 days later my AF came. We were confused, dissapointed, deceived, and very sad.
The only good thing is that we are now 100% sure we are prepared to have a baby.
This is the reason I've decided to go with the DCI pills. Even though after 2 weeks I have not felt any changes in my body, I am going to keep taking them for a while and see...

Well I order a 2 month supply earlier today. I am super excited about starting the DCI. It looks like women are getting great results from taking it. I hope to have it later this week.

Good luck to all.

Well, I ordered a two month supply yesterday. Whew it was expensive, but I think the supply has come down.

I was on Femaprin, and while I still believe it to be a high quality supplement, I needed something for my Insulin Resistence and Metabolic Syndrome I think I may have. I also have depression tendencies, and Im not sure if Femaprin was making them worse or not. I have been on Femaprin for 4 1/2 months so I did give it a good try. So I decided to go off of it for now and try DCI.

I had wanted to try Myo-Inositol instead of D-chiro Inositol,as it is cheaper. I did try it...1500 mg of Inositol, and 1500 mg Choline, combo. It maybe seemed to helped my cravings, and made me not as hungry I thought?! When I went off of the Myo-INositol I became depresesed and didnot feel well. So I am back on it and I ordered the DCI. I am looking forward to seeing what It will do for me. When I had my bloodwork done about 2 years ago, I had Mild PCOS, according to the blood test results, but still the testosterone and androgens were high enough to keep me from having natural ovulation and periods.

SO I have high hopes for DCI!!!!!! It came out to 57.00 per month if I order 2 bottles at a time. If it makes me get my periods back and regular, it will be worth it, I think. I got a New Customer discount with Chiral Balance.

Default DCI and Pregnancy?

I started taking DCI in December (when my doctor threatened me with Metformin - YIKES!) along with N-acetyl-cysteine and Alpha Lipoic Acid. I am not sure which did the trick, but taking these really made me feel better and I think even made it easier for me getting pregnant twice, once in the end of February and then again in the beginning of May.

As soon as I got pregnant I stopped all supplements though, including the DCI. And both times I miscarried at about 7 weeks. My doctor thinks that the Insulin Resistance/PCOS issues are related to the miscarriages and wants to put me on Metformin and have me stay on it the next time I get pregnant.

My husband had developed a theory that the supplements addressed the Insulin Resistance/PCOS symptoms allowing me to get pregnant (we've been together two years and never used any contraceptives), and then stopping the supplements caused my Insulin Resistance/PCOS symptoms to return leading to the miscarriages.

Do you think that stopping these supplements could contribute to miscarraige?

If so, do you think it is safe (or at least as safe as Metformin) to take these during pregnancy???

I think definately because DCI helps your body use insulin. When the insulin is high it messes up the other hormones. To sustain pregnancy you have to have progesterone lots of it (compared to when not preg). Insulin goes up and it screws up the progesterone that will cause problems! I think it is, when I am able to concieve I am going to take it clear through my pregnancy. It's just a B-vitamin so I don't think it could hurt anything. This is just how I understand everything though. You might want to look it up yourself and maybe call chiralbalance and ask them about it.

My DCI should be arriving Priority Mail today. I am excited to see what it will do for me, as I have never been on Metformin, I am Insulin resistant or/have a Metabolic syndrome.

According to the studies, the results of DCI and PCOS were comparable to Metformin and PCOS. If the results are comparable to Met and PCOS, I think I should give it more than 8 weeks. Perhaps at least 12 weeks to give it a full chance. If it works, then 60.00 a month is worth it in my opinion.

I emailed Chiralbalance, and the Dr. or whatever got back with me (Travis). He said that they do not intend on raising the price. In fact, the will hopefully be lowering the price again sometime in the future.
