I watch this board a lot b/c I am taking Chiral Balance. I am a true blue person, not a company and I have to say that my mood has improved significantly! I have reduced my anti-depressants and although I'm not losing as much weight as fast as I'd like, I do feel better overall. I am a believer in the effects of DCI and of myo, if you have questions, send me a message and I'll tell you more about what I am doing.

Maylove,

I personally could care less if anyone is a sales rep or not. The information and support that I have received from them is invaluable. If I have a question I know I can come here and either herbsgirl or rosegeranium will have an answer. They have done a lot of research on PCOS something I do not have time to do right now. We are trying to support each other and I agree with rosegeranium that you are just trying to stir up trouble! This is a great group of women who are coming together because we share a similar problem. Before I found the soulcysters, I felt like I was alone, now I know differently and have someone to share in my trials and tribulations.

Maybe if you really have PCOS you should go onto http://www.mypcos.info/ and check out the information Anne has listed. Her website is not just about DCI it has all kinds of information on PCOS. I recently started ordering from Anne but before that I contacted her with questions and even though I had never ordered from her before she gave me some great information. I don't think you will find many other people that would do that.

I understand that Maylove is just trying to say, 'be cautious' and that is appreciated, however, let's not point fingers at anyone. Most people here are just trying to figure out a natural way to find some sort of relief from PCOS and it is hard enough to have PCOS and dealing with doctors/friends/family so let's just all be cordial and supportive of one another. Honestly this website helps me deal with PCOS, even if it's just on an emotional level at first. Now I can start to do more to work on the physical effects of PCOS and having a resource to help me deal with it a natural way is amazing since Metformin and all that other stuff just makes me sick and feel unsteady. I really appreciate those that have the time/knowledge to do the research and share it with us.

Hi. I don't usually post in this section but feel like I have to chime in here. I read this section on an almost daily basis because my girlfriend suffers from PCOS and reading the information that some of the girls here provide has made a huge difference for us. Honestly, if it wasnt for this website, me and my gf may have broken up by now because I would never have understood the sub-surface implications that a condition like PCOS entails. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have acquired as a result of reading some of your posts and the help I have received from some of you is greatly appreciated. I now understand my gf's condition on a whole different level and thus approach it in such a way that I never would have had i not read this website.

After gaining knowledge and advice from fellow posters, I decided that I would ask my gf to go on a regimen of "alternative remedies", because she was on BCP prior to that and being around her wasnt always the most pleasant of scenarios. After embarking on the regime (fish oil, mutli vits, VIT B, D, MAG) i started noticing small changes in her such as less volatile moods, healthier looking skin and hair. Then i started reading about DCI/inositol and spent hours of my free time searching the internet looking up the pros and cons of this particular supplement. After reading and being amazed by some fo the success stories i came across, not only on this website but on other scientific studies, I decided that i would ask my gf if she wanted to start taking it. I noticed that many females had success on the cheaper inositol, so i would hold off on giving her DCI and try the inositol instead. The results were staggering. Her moods changed almost over night, her acne lessened, her appetite had diminished and the sight of sweets and carbs didnt make her drool the way it used to. As she is on the BCP, we still dont know the effect it has on her periods (she used to have 2 a month prior to bcp), but we are just taking baby steps right now. After trying the inositol for a few weeks and seeing the great results it had, i decided to order some DCI for her from Anne in australia (who is wonderful and very helpful) because she is cheaper than any of the other ppl in the states. Due to the fact there was a delay in shipment, she not only gave me an extra 4mg of DCI for free, but has also given me $10 of my next order. My gf is gonna start taking DCI in the next few days and i'l let u guys know the result.

Back to the point. I am truly grateful to you guys on this website who have been very helpful in providing me the information that has helped me help my gf become a totally different person and treat her in the way her condition should be. Whether certain people on this forum are sales reps or not is besides the point because the most important aspect of this forum is support, not only for fellow cysters, but for people like myself who need better understanding of what the condition actually entails. My gf is living proof that inositol and a regimen of natural supplements can help combat the situation and that could have never happened if it wasnt for this website.

I think any suggestions of ulterior motives and accusations are pointless because we are all here for the same reason at the end of the day. Sorry for ranting, but it needed to be said.

wow ok, i never said this website was bad. You just have to be careful with everything you read on here. A quick search on who is for mypcos.info yielded info on the owner http://www.soulcysters.net/member.php?u=53451 . You can see it for yourself on who is http://www.networksolutions.com/whoi...ch/mypcos.info Now not trying to cause any trouble here...just take everything with a grain of salt. Anecdotes are not that reliable sometimes. I will agree that mypcos.info is a great place for some information for supplements and this community is great for getting support for pcos. I have been reading on this forum for years since I have been diagnosed, but I have never been much of a poster. Anyways, I won't bother you guys anymore.

really. who cares? who cares? only you. stop the teanage dramma. this is for people with pcos, and people who want to help and or learn. thats what is going on here. people helping, and people learning, and people reacing out for support, or to support others. so lets get back to the topic at hand. Lets get back to helping support each other...

maylove: So sorry that RoseGeranium offended you or Anne or whoever. I just hope you can get the the support and information you need to kick PCOS's butt. Maybe you can use some of the info that Anne (RoseGeranium) has got. Best of Luck!

I chose my username because the essential oil of Rose Geranium is good for hormonal imbalance. What a surprise that another woman with PCOS had the same train of thought. I do not intend to waste my time trying to prove who I may or may not be on an internet forum, it's a colossal waste of time. You can either take me or leave me. I should know better than to get so upset over some anonymous internet troublemaker.

Maylove, I definitely get and agree what you are saying about taking info with a grain of salt (we should all do this for sure). Thankfully DCI has a growing evidence supporting its use for PCOS. Don't let one bad experience turn you way, this is a great website where women with PCOS can get support/info and I hope you find the support that you need.

Also some users have very few posts on their record and are praising the wonders of inositol. I think the benfits might be alittle overblown don't you think? Maylove - I neither work for nor receive any benefit from any company. I will say however that I have lost weight have a regular cycle now for the first time in my life and feel better with better blood levels than I have ever had. I am a believer in this because I've tried it and it works for me and 80% of the other people who take it.

Here is another thing. There is Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol. Two different things. This thread is about DCI not standard inositol.

Maylove I completely understand your concerns for sure after the fact you have proved that RoseGeranium is indeed Anne from myPCOSinfo but I dont think that this is the correct place to really talk about it.
