I can't access any songs from the workout mode. I must have a wonky disk.
I have the same version, and also thought that I had a bad disk. I read the pamplet in mine, and it stated that you use workout mode, almost as simply a settings mode. Set it up, and then play the game as you normally would. At the end of each song, when you see your grade, note on the bottom of the screen, it will say how many calories you burned. After the three songs, and when display the 3-song grade, it will show you calories burned for all 3 songs. You can go back into workout mode to see a combination of all songs played.

I also have ddr supernova, and with supernova, workout mode IS a completely different mode, but not with this version of the game you are talking about. hth
