Default de yeasting? anti parasite?

Okay.. I'm on Atkin's and he advises that if you have a stall you should check and see if you may have a yeast over growth.. which I do... I also did some research, and found out that systemic yeast overgrowth can cause problems with fertility..

so, I started taking this de-yeasting/anti-parasite program called paragone... has anyone else ever done a "de-yeasting"??? today is day 4 and I am soooo sick... I am having symptoms of yeast die off.. which basically feels like the worst case of flu ever....

If anyone out there has done a program, I'd sure love to comisserate.. also, find out if you have experienced any major improvements after de-yeasting...

I constantly have yeast infections and i have been put on diflucan for about a week at a time to get rid of the yeast over growth in my body and i end up feeling good for about 2 weeks then it all comes back! I think that some people are just prone to yeast over growth and it is a constant battle.I am constantly tired and moody and just feel like blah because of yeast in my body.Probiotics are supposed to work well at keeping the yeast away.I try to have yogurt everyday. For me my period causes a yeast infection every month.Make sure that when you buy vitamins to make sure they are yeast free.

Okay, so it's an obvious statement, especially for those who are low-carbing, but sugar (refined carbs in general) can exacerbate yeast overgrowth. When finished a yeast cleanse, sugar in particular should be avoided, along with an overabundance of animal products, which tend to throw off the ph balance of the body, producing an alkaline environment for yeast to thrive in.
