Dealing with friends preg. ???

Hi....I am in some desperate need for help since I feel like I am grasping at straws here.
To make it short and sweet my husband is paraplegic and just got out of yet another hospital stay that lasted all of last week. It is the first one in a year so that is at least something....then my sister in law who is caring for my mother in law for 2 pitiful weeks to give us a break wants more money the 400 we gave her she blew through in less than a week. And my father has been very sick on top of that. And then there is the normal junk with my spine looking like a preztel and being able to grow a beard....all that I am ok with.

My mom calls and informs me that my cousin who is the same age as me and we grew up very close is pregnant.. Now I am just like crying all the time I don't really talk to her anymore since I am not in her "class" of people so I don't know why I care. But it is like she was the last one of my friends I grew up with who did not have kids so now it is just me. The first night I found out I just had these uncontroble sobs...now it is like I am just sad/mad all the time and cry if I think about the rest of my life. The worse thing is that they are telling my mother she can be the great granny, since someone in the past thought she was her grandma...so it hurts my mothers feelings that she has no grandkids and all her friends and family do..

I don't know why I am writing this or what anyone can say to help I guess I just need to put it out there.

I know how you feel. I have three pregnant friends and sometimes it's very difficult. I go from being excited for them to feeling sorry for myself... I don't really have any advice. But I want you to know that you aren't alone.

Thanks Carrie...I know having kids will not make life perfect,,,but I just want to have that joy once.
