Default Decrease in desire

I was officially diagnosed with PCOS last June after several years of being misdiagnosed and treated for early menopause. I have tried several hormone therapies but things just go right back after the therapy. One of the worst things is I no longer have any desire for intimacy. Usually because of the constant cramping by also I think due to the hormone imbalance. Has anyone ever sought treatment for this issue?

I have that same problem and I just asked my DR about it and she wants to make sure that I really do have PCOS before she treats me with anything like met but she told me that there could be alot of reasons for it and they might not all be PCOS related. I know that was not much help sorry.

Don't worry!! I think it is a part of it. My libido is on the downside these days. Talk to your doc about it. You also need to talk to your guy about it. I will do this in a little while. Apart from PCOS there are other things that might contribute to it. You need to communicate!!

You're not alone, my libido has gone right down in the past couple of years. I'm lucky my partner understands my issues and doesn't presurre me at all.
Once thing I have noticed though is that in the past few months, since I started taking Metformin, it's slowly creeping back up. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

yeah, I think the same way you all do too...it being hormonal. Hope this isn't too much information...but we haven't had sex in almost 8 months. HAD NO DESIRE and grateful my husband understands. Luckily, the herbs are helping the desire a lot and hope to be doing soon. ha ha...

I have been looking for the right time to use that smile icon! ha ha....
