If you think it is a DVT, you need to get to a doctor or emergency room ASAP! The pain is mild compared to other things that could happen. It could very likely be something else, but it isn't worth the risk to wait and see. If it really is a blood clot, it could break off. I had one about a week after my C-section. I was already on major pain medicine, so I don't remember feeling it much. However, my leg swelled to nearly twice its size, and was quite warm. They put a filter in before I had surgery due to a different infection, which was a good thing. It broke off during that week. Don't mess around wih this. Get in to see someone!

If you think there is a possibility of DVT, you need to seek IMMEDIATE medical attention. If you do not drive, you should contact an ambulance to transport you. DVT's are life threatening medical emergencies that can be fatal if not treated promptly.

I agree. In this case, you're better safe than sorry. See if you can find someone to take you. If it truly is a DVT, the extra monet is not worth your life!

I agree. If you think it could be DVT, it doesn't matter....GET TO A DOCTOR ASAP!!! BC pills do put you at risk for clots, so definitely don't ignore the symptoms. Keep us posted!
