Did anyone else have this problem?? I was DX in October and my dr wanted to start me on metformin and told me that should help with some of the symptoms (great right??)
Ok well it's February an I still haven't started on it...why such a delay?? Has anyone else had to deal with a metformin delay?

Hey Jessie, Personally I haven't had this prob. I started the met the day after my RE visit.. Did they give you any explanation as to y you are not going to start right away?? I would call and ask.

Not really, but I'm going back on the 19th for a follow up from my D&C so hopefully he'll start me on it then. I'm just kind of worried that I'll get the undesirable side effects that glued a few of my friends to the toilet for a few days and I can't afford to take any time off from work since they cut our vacation and sick time last week...hopefully I won't though! :-D

Wow, I was diagnosed on Wednesday.. got the Metformin and Dianette on the Friday and started taking it on the Saturday.
I hope they sort it out for you soon!
