I found out from Pfizer that they discontinued Demulen in 2006 because they couldn't compete with the generic version, Zovia. So make sure you gyno or re writes you a rx for Zovia.

I was given a rx for Demulen in 2006 and got a year's worth of dodgy pills so make sure you do not possess any brand Demulen. If they stopped manufacturng them two years ago then Demulen that is around today won't be at full strength and shouldn't be taken in 2008.

Just a word of warning.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. My doc wrote me a script for Demulen a few weeks ago. Luckily they substituted the Zovia. Of course, they had to but thanks for the warning.
