My Mood: Points: 1,766.12 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,766.12 | I've had this problem too quite a bit in the past year. A few months ago I switched to secret clinical strength and I rarely have a problem anymore. It even cuts down on the under arm sweat while working out- which isn't really a problem, but it works. Its a tad more expensive than normal deodorants, but for me not having the embarrassment of trying to hide sweaty underarms is worth the extra. I also noticed, that in some shirts I have, I always get a little sweaty. I figured it was because the sleeves are shorter than most, but I don't know if this is true. Hope this helps. |

What we all found that works is when we shower we use an antibactierial soal like dial and use non sented deodarant. It has worked for all three of us.

You put it on at night and was it off in the morning. It has helped so much. Just be sure not to put it on after shaving, it burns. I don't have to use it every day now, only once a week. The other days I use Secret Clincal Strength. |

The probably is usually hormonal. I had to use potatoes when I hit puberty.

The key to the potatoe is the starch. Also, it has to be an irish potatoe. Cut it in half and use it in the morning when you shower and at night after a shower. You can reuse the potatoe (as long as it is still wet) by cutting off the used end.

I was using Secret and then I started having B.O. despite the fact that I was coating my underarms.
So I tried Degree, but my B.O. stayed the same.
Then I tried Mitchum for Women and it worked.
However, when I started Metformin back on April 1, for two or three weeks after, the B.O. came back.
Now, I'm fine and things are back to normal.
I think Afro_Cyster is right that it's often hormonal in nature.

I just switched to the Secret Clinical Strength. I was using Secret Platinum, and had also tried Dove (didn't work) and Degree (worked for a while and quit).
As others have said, I think it's hormonal, because sometimes I can use Degree and it works just fine, and then I end up having to go back to Secret.
I will say that in the past couple of weeks that I have used the Secret Clinical Strength, it seems to have made a big difference. I don't like that it costs more, but it's worth it not to stink.

After trying just about everything I found Arm and Hammer is the BEST, the baking soda in it takes care of any bo (which could get pretty bad at times) and the best part is its the cheapest you can buy. |

My Mood: Points: 435.28 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 435.28 | Easy home remedy that really works Read your post and boy can I relate! This really works and is cheap too. Pour a little baking soda into your hand. Add some fresh squeezed lemon juice. It will bubble up when it mixes. It should be a paste so that it stays on. Apply this to your underarm. Leave it on until the smell is gone, then rinse off. You can use bottled lemon juice, but fresh works a lot better. After this just use a good deodorant and it should be fine. If it comes back just repeat. Let me know if this works for you. It was the only thing that worked for me. Good luck!

My Mood: Points: 2,726.64 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,726.64 | I am so glad to read that I am not the only one with sweaty armpits. I have been using Secret Clinical and it's been working pretty good. I even put it on at night like the directions say. Is anyone else sweating a lot like on their forehead? That might sound wierd, but sometimes I think my male hormones from PCOS make me sweat like a man !!!
