Angry Deop shots and on going problems

It's hard to start a thread and explain all of my problems but in a short story. I think I have been bleeding half my life. I am 22 now and started my period when I was 11! I have been on every BC bill known to woman kind and just yesterday I started taking the Deop shot. Before the depo I was on lo overal and it worked for maybe a month and I started bleeding again. The pills only seem to work for a short time and I start bleeding. I only wanted to try depo just because I haven't and I have to find something to stop this. What is really going on when a women bleeds non stop? Where is the blood coming from? Is there just one egg being released each month? Should my period be stopping since I got the shot yesterday?I am just really uninformed and desperate for help...

i think you may have a little spotting on depo to begin with, but then as it is very strong, i hope that if will stop the bleeding issues! when you come to end of the amount (12 weeks for instance) you will have a withdrawal bleed and then require the next shot. good luck with it! a friend of mine was having those problems and is on depo and feels "normal" again! no excessive bleeding. she finds it more tricky to shift weight but at least she isn't becoming anaemic! xx
