Default Depo-medrol or Fluconazole helped my acne?

I don't know if it's a fluke, but I can't help but wonder. I'm wondering if anyone had any experience with this or knew something about it.

About a month and a half ago, I got a fungus all over me and it spread pretty rapidly (judging by the pattern on my rearside, I got it from a toilet seat?). When I went to the doctor she prescribed me Diflucan 100mg for 10 days in addition to a topical cream for those areas (not my face or scalp). She also gave me an injection, I thought it was some kind of antifungal, she didn't say it was a steroid. But anyway, I had tons of energy from it. I called the next day to ask what it was, since I felt so good. She had given me an 80 mg injection of Depo-Medrol.

Within days my acne had improved a lot. Normally when I get a pimple, they're more cystic and it takes a couple of weeks for them to go away. Especially if it's on my cheek. But everything was pretty much gone and just got better. Overall, my face looked less inflammed too. It even feels softer.

I wonder if steroids or fluconazole could've had something to do with it? Granted I've been eating healthy this year, but the fluconazole really killed my appetite and I barely ate anything for that 10 days, so I don't know if I can blame it on my good eating habits.

Does anyone know anything about this or have had any experience with steroids or an anti-fungal medicine? I just have to wonder, especially when I read that the side effects of depo-medrol and other steroids cause acne.

Well I know that a lot of us with hair loss have used nizoral shampoo because the antifungal agent in it has a anti dht effect.

Could it be that other antifungals have similar effects?

Just hazarding a guess.
