I went to the Gyno last week to get what i thought was my Lupron shot.I was scared to death of Lupron i had heard of the side effects (birth defects,hot flashes,bone density drop).After the DRs talking they decided to put me on Depo Provera instead.

For the first time in 9 months i don't have pain!Its unbelieveable!*knock on wood* I also have no side effects!I am really blown away and its great to finally live my life again!

I loved DepoProvera when I took it. It was so great for me that I took it for 10 years...it gave me my life back! I went off the shot so we could begin TTC. I wish that I knew then what I know now (the male factor) because I would have waited to go off the shot because the last three years have been hell. But they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....I think THEY are full of crap. Glad you are feeling good!!

He decided for Depo because i had been on it before a few years ago and i had no adverse side effects none at all!I still have no pain but i keep getting this weird brown discharge and its really annoying because it had stopped for 2wks and now it returns no matter what i do it comes back and its so annoying!Its like i keep feeling like im about to start my period but never do and just stay in limbo.Do any of you gals get this?

I remember after my first inj of the Depo I had some spotting, but I think it was just that first month after the injection. If it continues I would ask the dr about it.
