Unhappy Depressed

Hi I have been depressed for a few weeks now so that is why I have not been on really. I went to the docs today and she put me on Fluoxetine. Will see how that goes. This my 1st time on medication for it. I am not going to do anything silly just a lot of crying going on at my house but hope it stops soon with these new pills. I also have a really bad flu and a big cold sore so that does not help any.

Ahh honey I've been there before and I know how awful it is. But trust me, getting some help is the first step to making things better. I hope that the Fluoxetine works well for you. I'm on medication myself and it's made my quality of life a WHOLE lot better.

It doesn't help that you're sick as well too, you poor chookie! I hope you feel better soon.

There's always a cyster or two to chat to here, so you've done the right thing by posting.

Hugs
Kath

ah sweetie, when it rains---it pours huh? I hope you feel better soon. Remember the Prozac will take at least 4-6 weeks to work, hopefully sooner, so your tears can dry up.
Hang in there and keep your chin up.
Glad you posted--you're not alone.
